ARABIC 3A: APPLIED GRAMMAR & MORPHOLOGY

Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00pm–9:00pm

A delineation of the more intricate rules of Arabic grammar, morphology, and their application. Part of Ta’leef’s three–year Arabic curriculum, this course is designed to assist the student in establishing a thorough, working knowledge of Arabic grammar and the syntax and structure of the Arabic language. This bi-weekly class will utilize Al-Madinah Book 3 from Madinah Islamic University, Arabic for English Speaking Students by Rauf, excerpts from both Provisions of the Seekers and the classical grammar text Al-Ajrumiya.

Prerequisite: Students must have completed two years of Arabic, having successfully completed a previous course in Arabic grammar and must be able to comprehend an all Arabic text.

($150 Registration-September 20th-December 15th; no class on November 15th and 17th)

Ta'leef Collective



Ta’leef Collective began as Zaytuna Institute’s Outreach program in 2002 and was born into an independent organization in 2005 per the request of Zaytuna’s leadership. Ta’leef Collective provides the space, content and  companionship necessary for a healthy understanding, embrace and realization of Islam.   Ta’leef Collective primarily serves seekers actively interested in Islam and converts to the faith, assisting them  in realizing a sustainable conversion to and practice of Islam, and a healthy, gradual integration into our greater Muslim community. Ta’leef Collective also strives to re-engage the growing number of disenfranchised and often marginalized Muslim young adults.
